The presented collaboration options address particularly organizations from the private and public sector that are interested in collaborating with LEARN Logistics to strengthen capacity building related to the broad spectrum of logistics and supply chain management in low-and middle-income countries. Please understand the displayed options as examples only that we have been applying for the last couple of years. We are open to customize collaborations to the partners` needs as best as possible.

Donor-Alliance Model
Funding
A minimum of one additional donor besides LEARN Logistics, or even an alliance of numerous donors.
Duration
Long-term and multiple projects under the established collaboration umbrella
Finance Management
Multiple Options: e.g., Project Coordination Unit PCU (own legal entity); or one donor manages the project/alliance finances.
Resources
Sharing of resources, i.e., LEARN Logistics will contribute also with its office resources, international network, and employee expertise.
Implementation
LEARN Logistics employees, and potentially other donors’ employees will implement the project activities together with the benefitting organizations in the project countries,

Co-funding Model
Funding
A minimum of one additional donor besides LEARN Logistics, numerous donors are possible.
Duration
The collaboration can be for one single project or a series of projects incl. extensions/ second round fundings.
Finance Management
Usually LEARN Logistics receives co-donor’s funding in instalments and manages the finances as sole agent for the agreed project.
Resources
LEARN Logistics will contribute with its office resources, international network, and employee expertise.
Implementation
LEARN Logistics employees will implement the project activities together with the benefitting organizations in the project countries.

Funding
A minimum of one donor, numerous donors are possible; LEARN Logistics will not be a regular donor, but only contributes with in-kind/resources and potentially own cost coverage.
Duration
The collaboration is usually project-based; but can be extended to a series of projects.
Finance Management
Two options: a) LEARN Logistics receives donor’s funds in instalments and manages the financials through its own accounting systems; or b) the donor(s) arrange for their own funding and accounting, and transfer funds directly to the benefitting organizations in the project country.
Resources
LEARN Logistics will contribute with its office resources, international network, and employee expertise.
Implementation
LEARN Logistics employees will assist or take the lead in the implementation of the project activities together with the benefitting organizations (depending on the agreement)
