Continous Professional Development for Academics (CPDA)

Description

LEARN Logistics supports the offering of Continous Professional Development for Academics (CPDA) to assit the faculties to remain up-to-date about contemporary thematical discussions as well as didactical teaching methhodologies. Events related to CPDA (sometimes also referred to as Train-of-Trainer events) may involve participants from multiple universities, but also CPDAs dedicated to only a single-university can be organized. The selection of topics (e.g., Digitial Supply Chains; Sustainable Logistics operations; Case Study Teaching; etc…) and venues will be organized centrally by the responsible LEARN Logistics Program Manager and coordiated with the focal contact point of the invited universities. Academics who have been selected for particiaption, should plan a full week of absence as well as weekend travel in their calendars.

LEARN Logistics frequently updates its Event page at which the latest and already scheduled CPDA events can be found.

Eligibility for Participation and Funding Conditions

Generelly, any member of the academic faculty is eligible to be invited to attend a CPDA event. This shall also include PhD candidates as long as they are full-time members of the faculty, and e.g., are involved in teaching or other modes of delivery of the study program.
