The School of Management, Universidad de los Andes
Its faculty of 61 professors, 90% of whom hold PhDs, is one of the most diverse and influential of all Latin American business schools. Internationally, the School of Management is recognised for its contributions to the field of sustainability, including topics such as social entrepreneurship, environmental and financial management. The Faculty is characterised by its diversity in publications aimed at academics as well as practitioners. It was recently ranked 51st among the best business schools in the world and 5th in Latin America.
The School of Management is the first institution in Colombia accredited by the AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). This accreditation is a quality distinction highly sought after by management faculties, accounting for less than 5% of these schools in the world, including universities such as Harvard, MIT and Babson.
The Universidad de Los Andes School of Management has exchange programmes, around 47 international visiting professors are received each year at the school and receives MBA students from prestigious universities such as Cornell, Wharton-Lauder Institute, NYU, ESCP Europe, Nyenrode, ESAN and HEC Montreal.
Research is essential for the Faculty of Management. All professors are involved in research projects and publications in high-impact journals, books, case studies and teaching materials are encouraged.

Program Overview
The International Week will address new developments and challenges in emerging markets focusing on sustainability, innovation and digitalization. Lecturers will discuss these topics from different perspectives practitioners and academic backgrounds, including digital transformation, decarbonization, restructuration, and applications of artificial intelligence in logistics and transport.
The lecture topics are enriched with group discussions and networking with Colombian and Latino-American industry representatives, public sector leaders and entrepreneurs. In the discussion talks, students can have first-hand exchanges on the experiences and how to develop competitive strategies within and from an emerging market perspective.
The lecturers and invited researchers bring a wide range of experiences and will discuss the relevant topics based on their research and project experiences.
In addition, participants will have cultural and social immersion experiences: tours with local communities that will allow them to get to know the country and the Latin American region in deeper detail.
