We specialize in thematical areas related to logistics and supply chain management and have a geographically scope for project implementation in low- and middle-income countries – currently with an emphasis on Africa. LEARN Logistics is a private and non-profit charity limited organization with its headquarters in Hamburg, Germany and most of its highly skilled and experienced staff deployed to East- and West-Africa. We are a full subsidiary unit of the Switzerland-based Kühne Foundation and operate in a broad international network of individual and organizational stakeholders.

The non-profit Kühne Foundation was established by the Kühne family in 1976 in Switzerland and owes its financial strength to the success of one of the world's largest logistics companies, the Kühne+Nagel Group. As the renowmed entrepreneuer Prof. Dr. h.c. Klaus-Michael Kühne states:
